Pricing FAQ
What happens when my Solo license expires?
If you purchased the one-time Solo plan ($149), your site keeps running indefinitely — you just stop receiving updates. You can renew at any time to get back on the latest version.
What happens when my Agency subscription expires?
All subscription plans (Solo yearly, Agency Freelancer, Studio, Enterprise) have a 15-day grace period after expiry. During this time, the API stops accepting requests and your sites become read-only. If you don't renew within 15 days, your data is permanently deleted. We send reminders well in advance.
Do you have a hosted option?
No. ThinCMS is self-hosted only. You deploy it on your own server — a $5/month VPS is sufficient for most Solo sites. We believe in giving you full ownership and control of your data.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can install ThinCMS on your own server and try it free before purchasing a license. No credit card required. You can also watch a demo walkthrough on the demo page.
Can I upgrade from Solo to Agency later?
Yes. You pay the difference between what you paid and the Agency tier price, pro-rated for the remaining license period.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card only, processed securely via Stripe.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If ThinCMS is not the right fit, contact us within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked.
